Holidaying Cosmetic Dentist Saves Shark Bite Victim in Fiji
A dentist on an island holiday had an adventure that wasn't part of his travel plans performing emergency surgery on a shark bite victim.
A cosmetic dentist from Costa Mesa, America was on a trip to Fiji when he found someone in desperate need of help: A local fisherman whose arm had nearly been bitten off by a shark.
The dentist performed emergency procedures to stem the bleeding and save the limb, before the man was transferred to hospital.
