Conference on asbestos dangers

Hundreds of workers' representatives from across Yorkshire and Northern England will be at a Sheffield conference next week to discuss the dangers of asbestos.

Organised by the Yorkshire and Humberside regional TUC, the conference aims to increase awareness of the dangers of asbestos, from symptoms and diagnosis of occupational lung disease to the devastating effects asbestos-related illnesses can have on a community.

The event, at Sheffield Cathedral Conference Centre on Monday has been arranged with the help of leading Yorkshire law firms Raleys Solicitors and Thompsons.
